Tremendous Upside w/ Dave & Niraj

This week in 24 - Season 6, Episode 17TV - 24
What can I say about this week? A lot. It finally was an interesting episode. I don't know what it is, but I still feel like these haven't been strong episodes. This episode was better for the simple fact that Jack finally got back into the action some more and kicked some ass.

The twist with the CTU unit and the fake "recovery" of Fayed was cool because it actually was unexpected. Of course everyone would see Jack go down and be like "yeah, he's fine," but who saw the bigger twist coming?!?

Palmer keeping Tom in the dark was stupid and made no sense except adding useless drama to the storyline.

And Audrey's alive! Not that it was a very big surprise, but I guess now Jack's not seeking revenge.

Are you kidding? This episodes was great. I laughed out loud a couple times, especially when Jack tried to bite Fayed.

I was thinking, "Geez, what idiots. How many times does the transport get hijacked?" And then they pull the fake hijacked transport trick. What nachos!

It seems kind of weird that they appeared to end the nuclear threat with the hanging of Fayed and the capture of the last two bombs. Hmmm, how are we going to fill the last 7 hours? Lets go back to Audrey and the Chinese. Or were they behind the nukes as well?

    Fantastic episode

Yeah, didn't the same Chinese guy hand Jack over at the beginning of the day? Some people have been speculating that he's still in L.A., especially because the 310 area code he gave in the phone number he gave Jack is apparently an L.A. area code. So Audrey may have been in L.A. all along!

All that said, this has been a pretty ridiculous season. Hopefully this new plot is better and redeems it. Just give us what we want, Jack Bauer kicking ass.

The episode of the year! Far and away, actually. From the transport hijack twist, the palmer nuclear bluff, fayed's distress signal, jack tracking them singlehandedly, then hanging fayed with the sweet music.

plus a cliffhanger. i was kind of happy to see audrey die earlier, but i suppose jack needs some woman to save. i do believe they're in LA, if only because everything has to happen in LA so they don't waste episodes flying. they did that once with mexico and all, but generally every target and every location is always going to be in LA.

the only improvement could have been more chloe. Jack totally earned his 400,000 for that one.
