This week's episode was much like the Season 5 premiere in that it was interesting and mostly setting up for this season. In Ari's world, Andrew actually closed a deal (versus his poor performance and panic attack last season) and Lloyd started nagging him for a promotion. Of course Ari just blew off Lloyd, but Lloyd was serious this time, and he threatened to quit. After getting crap from his family for treating Lloyd badly, Ari made a deal with Lloyd: if he can survive 100 days he can have his promotion. So we can only imagine how ridiculous Ari is going to behave with Lloyd this season.
In Vince and E's world, Vince needed a driver's license since his movie is about Ferrari Enzo, but he sucks at driving. He gets the license anyways by bribing the guy at the DMV, but then he goes and explains what happened on Leno. I wonder if that's going to come back to bite him. E got called by Sloan because there was an opportunity to sublet a place for a really good deal and she thought he wanted to move out. E started thinking he could get back with Sloan by asserting his independence and getting the place, which created an awkward situation with Vince. I liked when E referred to Turtle and Drama as the peanut gallery, because that's what they were doing for most of the episode whenever Sloan called.
Jamie-Lynn Sigler made a brief appearance with Turtle, and apparently they're still happily together. And it looks like E and Sloan are probably hooking up again. So that would leave Vince and Drama without relationships. But at the end they showed Drama's enjoying being busy working.
This season has a pretty good setup, so I'm waiting to see where they go with it.
